I discovered a new passion for web design as I started working for my children’s school in 2006. My computer networking background as a network engineer gave me the knowledge and experience of the internet and an excitement to learn the details needed to know HTML, the language that web browsers understand.

Web designs as well as businesses have changed a lot since 2006.  Current custom designs need to be mobile-friendly as well as dynamic to all screen sizes.  Small businesses also need to prioritize security on their websites.  Many small businesses and nonprofit organizations also want to be able to manage their site on a monthly basis without having to hire a web designer to make minor changes.  Using a WordPress template to make a customizable design is a good way to meet these requirements.
